Exercise 2: Mindfulness and Humanity
1. Think about when you tripped up in your change journey.
What to do: In your change journal, write about the negative emotions it provoked, and how you felt about yourself.

What to do: Write about how the trip-up was very human, in the sense that humans are imperfect.
Were there extenuating circumstances?
Isn’t it okay to be flawed?
Doesn’t everyone make mistakes?
3. Finally…
What to do: Write yourself some words of comfort and reassurance. Be gentle with and kind to yourself. Forgive yourself.
