In your change journal, make some notes about the following:

What to do: Reflect on behaviour changes you’ve tried to make in the past.

  • Do you think the change may not have stuck because you tried to do too much, too soon?

  • How do you think you might have been more successful if you’d tried to start with tiny habits?

What to do: Reflect on the change you want to make now.

  • How do you think you can apply the “tiny habits” principle to it?

  • Has it given you any ideas about how to approach the change?
