Module 2: Thinking about change
Session: Do
Uncover your immunity to change
Step 2: Actions
What to do: On a new page, make a list of the actions you could take to make the change.
These are concrete things you could do to support the change.
For example, if the change you want to make is to get fitter, one action could be to sign up at a gym. If you want to spend more time with your kids, an action might be to get home by 6pm every day.
Some tips:
Your list needn’t be comprehensive – you can keep it to about 5 actions.
Word them positively – they are things you could do, not things you shouldn’t do. So, you might write “eat more fresh veggies” rather than “stop eating sugary treats”.
These are actions that would move you toward the change, not actions you need to move away from.
