These are things that are preventing you from making the change.

Maybe, instead of spending money on a gym membership, you buy more clothes than you need. Perhaps, instead of getting home at 6pm, you put your clients ahead of your kids.

Some tips:

  • Be honest with yourself. Nobody is judging you, and you shouldn’t judge yourself. This part of the exercise may raise some uncomfortable truths and feelings, but it’s a valuable and necessary part of the process.

  • Don’t think that you’ve suddenly found the problems and solutions and then rush out to DO stuff. This exercise is about awareness of actions, not taking actions.
